Discontinuous Economic Growing Quantity Inventory Model

The classical economic growing quantity (EGQ) model is a key concept in the inventory control problems research literature. EGQ commonly employed for purpose of management items, such as fish and farm animals, within industries livestock, seafood, aviculture. order (EOQ) assumes that customer demand satisfied without interruption each cycle; however, this assumption not always true some companies they do have continuous operations, except item storage, during non-working times weekends, natural idle periods, or spare time. In study, we extend traditional by incorporating working resulting development new called discontinuous (DEGQ). Unlike conventional model, DEGQ considers presence intermittent operational which firm actively engaged its activities, only storage-related operations occur. By discontinuity, provides more accurate representation real-world scenarios where businesses operate non-continuous manner, thus enhancing effectiveness strategies. study aims to obtain optimal number periods cycle slaughter age breeding and, subsequently, find size minimize total cost. Finally, propose an analytical procedure determine solutions. This entails finding using closed-form equation determining exhaustively searching entire range possible growth times.
